Understand the game of Craps, and you will understand the Power in the graphic above!
Hi! Welcome to my page! My
job is to get you around my boss's "Crapy" Manual fast and easy.
Your job will be to stick with it until you master the basics of Craps.
Don't give your hard earned money away because of a lack of knowledge!
If you have any question, my Boss set up a special questions Page.
After each major section, simply click on his name to ask a question.
Remember, the only "stupid" question is the one not asked! (I dare you to find this service in a hard book!) Please tell
my boss how great I did moving you around! (Maybe
he will give me a raise.) Thanks!
Are
you new to this game? If you are, put your hand in my hand and I'll take you
to the introduction. Contained within the introduction you will discover what
makes this Manual unique over all other Manuals. You will not only be able to
learn the meaning of the terms and bets, but you will be able to put what you
have learned into the context of a real game via a story about Mr. T. P. playing
Craps.
I will
take
you to the start of a "Crapy" Language Decoded! You will learn all the
Betting Areas on a Craps Table. You will be introduced to all the workers at the
Table that are there to help you.
This
area of the Manual will cover: Right and Wrong Players * How
to handle the Dice * Shooter *
Buying in * Cashing in *
Individual Numbers that have their own Name * Place #'s *
Horn #'s * Hardway #'s
If
you ever wondered where Odds come from and how they
are figured, I will show you where and how! Be prepared to spend some time in
this area. If you take it slow, a mystery will be solved!
The
"House Edge" is perhaps the most
misunderstood concept in gaming. Experts use this term, but never tell you what
it means. I will tell you what it means and show you why it is not important to
you as an individual short time player! This is a must
read!!!!
Here
will be an area to brush up on some really "Crapy" terms: Puck *
Button * Come-Out Roll *
Continuing Come-Out Roll * Point *
Pass * No Pass * 7-Out
* Minimum & Maximum Bets *
Standing Bet * Flat Bet *
No Call Bets * Hot, Cold, and Choppy Table
Now
that you know the terms used in Craps, let me show you how the game is played. I
will show you a graph call "The Circle of Craps". As you follow me
around this "Crapy" Circle, I will show you how you will win and how
you will lose.
So
ya wanna make a Bet? This is about a 4 screen area that will include: Contract
Bets - Pass Line, Come, and Put Bets * Don't Pass
Line * Don't Come * and
Free Odds Bet are all covered in detail.
Here
you will continue to learn more about the different Bets that you will be able
to make. They are: Place # Bet * Buy Bet * Lay Bet
* Field Bet * Big 6 & Big
8 Bet. You will also learn which bets you can place yourself and which bets you
will need the help from the Dealer and Stickman.
Ok
already! I know I look stupid. I also know that my boss said that he was going
to give you just "The 'Crapy' Facts without all the Bull!" However, I
think he is trying to make a point that this area is going to deal with
the "Horn". These are the Bets in the
center of the table that can be confusing. Understand this area and the only
thing that will be confusing is, "Why am I wearing these stupid
horns!"
You
are now ready to understand how to make multiple Spread
Bets: Inside Spread * Outside Spread *
Across Spread. You will also learn how to control your Bets. You will understand
when and why you would say: Same Bet * Off *
On * Press * Up *
Parlay * Down *
"Make it Look Like" * and Move.
Well
that's all the basics that you will need to know to become a Smart Player. Read
the story in the introduction and see if it makes any sense to you now. If you
can understand the story - You understand the basics of Craps. Now you must
concentrate on learning as much as you can about Strategy! In this last area of
the Manual that I can take you, I talk about the importance of learning sound
Strategy that will help you become a consistent winner! Remember:
Knowledge is Power!
My Boss wants to know how I did. There is going to be only one way he
will know for sure. (I'm
going to tell him I did great! But he expects that.)
He wants to hear from you. I did my
best moving you around his "Crapy" Manual. Perhaps I can do better?
Nah! But it's better if you tell him. Send your "Crapy" comments, GOOD, or "err"
bad to:
Jason and Richard
